Why You Should Focus on The Fundamentals
Welcome back to the Mid Market Insider!
Today, we’re diving into a common topic in private equity called “Financial Engineering.”
It’s something that many other private equity firms focus on as the primary way to improve and grow a business.
While we’re aware of it as a proven method, it’s not something we focus on at Four Pillars.
We focus on creating value by improving operations and sales & marketing, thereby driving sustainable growth.
We’re convinced the majority of businesses would see meaningful growth if they doubled down on the fundamentals.
Of course, we focus on shareholder value, but when we focus on ALL aspects of the business, the shareholders themselves will do great as well.
It positively impacts employees and communities too.
We believe in building businesses that contribute to long-term economic stability and prosperity.
That goes beyond the income statement and the balance sheet.
Short-term gains aren't our ultimate goal.
We want sustainable growth that lasts.
We invest time and resources into developing people, who in turn develop robust business models and strategies.
Private equity, when done right, has immense potential to strengthen communities and create opportunities.
We see each investment as a chance to foster:
Business growth
Job creation
Economic stability
